Coincidence And Its Secret Source?

The world is so unpredictable. Things happen suddenly, unexpectedly. We want to feel we are in control of our own existence. In some ways, we are, in some ways we’re not. We are ruled by the forces of chance and coincidence. -Paul Auster

Seeing a beautiful hawk glide in the air reminds me of that undeniable truth in the act of surrender to a power greater than we are. The hawk doesn’t resist the wind as it soars through the air but allows its wings to glide with the flow of the wind into its desired direction. Noticeably, there is no inaction by the hawk but rather lives in active participation with all that is as it lives.

Perhaps we can learn from the hawk the truth in acceptance of our experiences and as creatures inspiration in trusting in a power that is operating on a level of order and perfection. What may seem like coincidence can also be a complex and mathematically precise calculation of a supreme intelligence that can make what appears to be an accident a direct formulation of divine intervention in this vast play of life.

We like to think we are in control and some aspects of our daily lives we are but we must also concede in knowing that much is completely out of our control and this is our truth. Letting situations unfold naturally may be challenging at first to allow but once adopted immensely rewarding.

The act of feeling present with this powerful creative force within enables us to unite our being to that which is powerful and creative in its oneness. It is then we become one for all and all for one in our existence as expressions of the divine.  Furthermore, as individually complex beings, we collectively can experience unity in diversity and diversity in unity as divine instruments playing our own harmonious tunes distinct in our own experiences in this life.

Life is all about learning and growing from our experiences even the unpleasant ones. We can do a disservice to ourselves when we seek to attempt to control every aspect of our experience. Instead of resisting occurrences in life, which can lead to the frustration, we can benefit from acceptance and surrender to the divine order of things perhaps even to the divine re-shuffling of our desires that we often contribute to Coincidence.
